Welcome to Episode 52 of the No Quit Living Podcast.
NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated and never quit.
In today's episode, Brad Rex delivers value about the importance of perspective. They say happiness is recognizing that the glass is half full, and being content with the part that is half empty. In Brad's "no quit" story, he had an amazing job that he loved. After working for the company for a month, it was bought and acquired. This seemed great for Brad because it gave him stock options. After about a year and a half, Brad got laid off, because it turned out that the buyers had paid too much for the company and they were forced to cut costs by laying off a whole layer of management. While this seemed like a curse rather than a blessing, Brad stayed positive about the situation and truly believed that the situation would turn around. In getting laid off, Brad gained free time to spend with his kids and family that he never had before. He was able to leverage his time to ultimately write his book, revolutionize numerous industries, and help people struggling with mental health.
