There is not a single successful entrepreneur that hasn't failed and picked themselves back up. Before Tucker even tells his no-quit story, he makes this very clear and we can't stress this enough! Tucker Max is an author with multiple best selling books under his belt. He built his own email list of true fans before "email lists" even existed. In his no-quit story, Tucker talks about finishing law school and getting fired from his first job as an attorney. From there, he moved back home to work at his father's restaurant where he was also fired. That's right - Tucker was fired from his father's restaurant that he shared a name with. Although he wasn't the best candidate for either of these jobs, he found passion in writing funny emails to his friends. These were some of the first blogs to be written before the term "blog" was coined. Tucker's friends began sharing his work, and he knew he had a product of value. From there, Tucker took off - Sending his work to 1,000 different publishing companies. 950 of them didn't respond, and 40 of them wrote him personalized rejection letters back. This was then, and now all of those companies know his name and recognize Tucker as a missed opportunity for them.
