Lee Cockerell grew up on a farm with no money, no indoor plumbing, was adopted two separate times, his mother went through five divorces, dropped out of college, joined the army and ended up running Disney World thirty five years later. After the unforgettable tragedy that took place on 9/11, Cockerell was forced to slash five hundred million dollars from their company budget (not to mention the mental and emotional trauma from that day.) He worked seven days a week tirelessly for many years after that and was able to do it without laying off any of their employees. Cockerell is obviously an incredibly dedicated and hard worker, but his self proclaimed biggest accomplishment is his family. Unlike his mother, who married five different times, he's been married one time for fifty years and has shifted out the innate racism and bigotry from his ancestry and continues to spread positivity and awareness today.
